Intro
Agriculture has been and remains central to Uganda’s economic growth and poverty reduction accounting for close to 73% of total employment for citizens of Uganda. The government and different projects have come out to support the sector to increase productivity of farmers. This is to help them grow from substance farming to commercialized agriculture. However, farmers have faced a problem of lack of markets for their produces which has affected them greatly.
It’s against this background that we setup Webfarm solution as a platform that links farmers to the markets. Webfarm Awega CDMS is an ICT enabled platform connecting different players in the agricultural value chain with the aim of creating market linkages & improve household incomes.
Challenge and Solution
According to the NDP II, In order to enhance marketing and distribution of agricultural products, focus will be on: developing capacities of existing farmers’ organizations, co-operatives and producer associations so as to reap from economies of scale; expanding market access through regional and international protocols and Uganda missions abroad; and deepening ICT access to facilitate market information sharing.
We introduce WebFarm, an ICT enabled platform that leverages on various ICT platforms to bring together various agriculture value chain actors with the aim of creating markets linkages and improve household income.

Challenge and Solution
KAA faced UX and UI challenges regarding their outdated website. Users struggled to find all the relevant information they needed and thus had to redesign the look and feel of their website.
We redesign their website to improve the look and feel, also our firm improved the structure of the pages and categorized the main sections and visitor types. Lastly, we improved the navigation within each article and supplied the most viewed ones with supportive icons.
